Meet the Teddies

We'd like to introduce you to the Teddies.

The Teddies have been in our family since Lukas was a baby. They were two separate gifts that happened to be almost identical, and the three of them have been somewhat inseparable since.

They existed quite happily without names for six-and-a-half years, but Dylan and Lukas decided to name them Jack and Tom a couple of months ago.

Jack and Tom look forward to showing you some of the sights and activities from our adventures. Check back every now and then to see what crazy capers these two have been up to.

Things I've learnt along the way.....

6) Don't look at the price of petrol in remote places, it will only add worry to your day. Best just to fill up when you need to and paywave the worry away.
5) Grass camping sites are worth extra money, time and effort. Sticky red dirt is my enemy.
4) WikiCamps - the best money I have ever spent on an app - do not leave home without it
3) Spraying insect repellent in the door of the motorhome will set off the smoke alarm which will scream ridiculously loudly for 2 minutes.
2) When you pay $4 or $5 per load of washing the concept of mixed load applies - there is no more separating of towels from sheets from lights from darks.
1) A rest stop marked in the Camps book as suitable for overnight stays is usually NOT suitable for overnight stays unless you enjoy sleeping 10 metres from a road.
